Lower Quadrant Rehabilitation Workshop Part 2

A dynamic hands-on manual course
designed for the therapist who wants to learn new manual skills to treat the
lower quadrant including the hip, knee, foot and ankle. It will include
assessment of the quadrant through arthrological, myological, fascial, visceral
and neural components. A treatment protocol will be developed and manual
correction for the joint, muscle, fascia, neural or visceral dysfunction will
be implemented. Techniques will be demonstrated and in partners the manual
skills will be practiced.

                        SLR, Slump

The participant will be able to:

1) Learn manual techniques for treatment of the pathology
of the lower quadrant   

2) Assess for
the dysfunctional component of the lower quadrant (arthrological, neurological,
visceral, fascial or neural)    

3) Advance
their knowledge of anatomy of the lower quadrant.                                  

4) Practice manual techniques to
regain accessory movements, stretch shortened muscle tissue, release fascia,
correct the mobility of the viscera and treat neuromeningeal restrictions.                     

5) Apply the skills
directly to clinical practice.                                                               

6) Determine manual skills for hip, knee, foot and ankle dysfunctions
and injuries.

COST:
